Introduction

We are glad you are with us! “Emosophy App” (hereinafter referred to as EmApp or “the App”) is a project created to help you better understand your emotions, track your internal states, and find effective ways to manage them. Our goal is to provide you with a useful tool for self-discovery, not to profit from your data. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it to display advertisements.

Data Storage Features

Unlike applications where data is stored only locally, EmApp requires the creation of an account for full functionality. This is necessary for synchronizing data across devices, restoring access to your records, and using the full features of the App. Your data is securely stored on the servers of our partners, such as Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics).

1. What Information We Collect

A. Information you provide
When registering via email or third-party services, we receive:
Basic profile: Name, email address, and profile photo (if added).
Additional details: Date of birth, gender, and city.

B. Information we receive through use
State and event data: Information you enter into the calendar, added states, and viewed practices.
Emotion selfies: If you use this feature, photos are stored on secure servers.
Moderation materials: Data for receiving Emotional Capital (EC), links to posts, or suggestions for new states.
Activity data: We use analytics to understand which features are most useful.
Technical information: Device model, OS version, log files for stability, IP address, language, device ID (anonymized), error and crash logs.
Cookies: Used only on the website for traffic analysis (not applicable to the mobile app).

2. How We Use Information

We use your data solely for the operation and improvement of the App:
1. Account management: Profile creation and identity verification.
2. Feature operation: Support for the calendar, wheel of states, and the EC system.
3. Communication: Sending important technical notifications.
4. Analytics: Identifying trends to improve user experience.
5. Security: Preventing fraud and complying with legal requirements.

3. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell your data. Disclosure is possible only in the following cases:
Service providers: Our technical partners who provide data storage and analytics. They are obligated to maintain confidentiality.
Researchers: In the future, only with your explicit consent and in a fully anonymized form.
Legal requirements: To law enforcement agencies to comply with the law or protect safety.
Business reorganization: In the event of a merger or acquisition (with prior notice to users).
Important: Your history, selfies, and calendar entries are visible only to you and are not shared with other users.

4. How Long We Keep Information

We retain your personal information as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our systems. We may retain only anonymized statistical data that cannot be linked to your identity.

5. Managing Your Information

You have full control over your data:
Access: You can view your profile data in the user dashboard.
Deletion: You can delete your account at any time. This will lead to the irreversible deletion of your entire history. In case of re-registration, only your EC balance will be preserved.
Withdrawal of consent: By deleting your account or managing permissions in your device settings.

Requesting account deletion from outside:
You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data, or partial deletion of your data, by emailing us at emapp@chuvstva.info from the email address associated with your account. We will process the request within 30 days.

6. Data Transfer

Our servers and our partners’ servers are located in data centers in various countries. By using EmApp, you consent to international data processing. Data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own (including the USA). We ensure data protection in accordance with Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this document. We will notify you of any significant changes via the App or by email.
